Terms of Service for BracketGO

Overview

Welcome to BracketGO. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BracketGO application, website, and services (collectively, the "App"), operated by Purple Vertex Digital ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing, creating a bracket, purchasing a sponsorship slot, or viewing shared content on the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

BracketGO provides a lightweight, accessible platform for tournament hosts, organizers, and directors ("Hosts") to build, manage, and share live bracket content and scoreboards with spectators, participants, and fans ("Spectators").

BracketGO does not require user accounts. Access to bracket creation and spectator views is provided through direct app interactions and shareable web links.

Host Responsibilities & Conduct

As a Host creating or managing content on BracketGO, you agree that you are solely responsible for all text, player names, team identifiers, bracket titles, and media uploaded to your brackets ("User Content").

You agree not to upload, post, or share content that:

• Is illegal, offensive, defamatory, harassing, or hate speech.
• Infringes on any trademark, copyright, or proprietary right of any third party.
• Contains false, misleading, or deceptive tournament or scoring information.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove any bracket or user-submitted content at our sole discretion without prior notice if it violates these Terms.

Sponsorship Slots & Payment Processing

BracketGO allows Hosts or local partners to purchase sponsorship display slots within tournament viewports.

• Payment:All payment processing for sponsorship slots is handled securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By submitting payment details, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policies.
• Refunds: All sponsorship slot purchases are final and non-refundable once activated, unless otherwise required by law or approved in writing by Purple Vertex Digital.
• Content Review: We reserve the right to reject or remove sponsorship artwork or messaging that violates community standards or infringes on third-party rights.

Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its original source code, design, features, branding, and visual interfaces, is the exclusive property of Purple Vertex Digital and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Hosts retain ownership of the specific tournament names and custom logos they upload to their brackets, but grant Purple Vertex Digital a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, host, and render that content within the App for display to Spectators.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Purple Vertex Digital does not guarantee that:

• The App will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location.
• Any errors or defects in live bracket syncing, scorekeeping, or display will be corrected immediately.
• The results obtained from using the App will meet your specific event operational requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Purple Vertex Digital, its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or operational delays—resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your bracket data.
• Any disputes between Hosts, Spectators, players, or sponsors.

In no event shall our aggregate liability for all claims exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to BracketGO in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination & Data Removal

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App or remove hosted brackets immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

Hosts may request the manual deletion of an active bracket or sponsorship listing by contacting customer support.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted directly on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
